A local detail that makes a difference
Kannapolis parking and entrance details
Downtown gives a general area. A deck name, level and nearby sign give a clearer place to meet. When a key problem interrupts a visit to Kannapolis, your destination and your service location may be two different places.
VIDA and NCRC aren't the same deck
The city's downtown parking page identifies separate decks and lots. If you parked in VIDA or NCRC, use that name and add the level and nearest useful sign. Oak Avenue and station parking are separate location references, too.
At an Oak Avenue lot, add the entrance or nearest street sign when explaining where you are. Parking fees, event restrictions and access arrangements can change. Use the signs where you parked and the city's current parking information to check the details.
A landmark can narrow things down
Village Park is at 700 West C Street. Safrit Park is at 1314 Bethpage Road. Naming the park is useful, then the particular lot or entrance makes the description better. If you are near Atrium Health Ballpark, explain which side or parking area you mean rather than only saying the ballpark.
Kannapolis station is at 201 South Main Street. Salisbury station is a different place, at 215 Depot Street in Salisbury. When requesting help with a parked car, use the actual vehicle location rather than a station name on a travel plan.
Park and event access can change. This guide doesn't confirm that a gate, water feature, attraction or parking area is open at a particular time.
For buildings, name the door
A Research Campus address doesn't identify every entrance on the campus. A downtown business can have a street-facing door, a rear door and a shared entry. Give the building, unit and side where the problem is, along with any outer door that needs to be passed first.
At a home, include the unit and whether the affected entrance is at the front, side or garage. In a managed property, make sure the person responsible for access is involved. A useful location description doesn't replace permission for the work.
- Start with the full address or named parking facility.
- Add the level, unit, lot or entrance.
- Describe a nearby sign rather than a moving vehicle.
- Mention gates and other access restrictions.
Clear details help define the request.
A pin and a sentence work well together
A map pin can help locate you, but it may land on the wrong side of a building or above another level. Pair it with a plain description of where you are. Stay in a safe place while you arrange help at 704-200-2257.
